Miss Wren's Menagerie for Peculiar Animals was Miss Wren's original loop. The loop is believed to be the inspiration for one of the stories in the Tales of the Peculiar; a story about a giant named Cuthbert who lifted animals on top of a large mountain to protect them from hunters.

History[]

According to the Map of Days, the loop was the repetition of July 17, 1755. The loop was located in Western Wales. Miss Wren used the loop to house and protect peculiar animals, which were starting to decline in population. The wards lived in peace, though tragedy often broke the peace when some of the animals Miss Wren found died before she found them, or not long after.

The loop would see tragedy with the arrival of wights and Deirdre the Emu-Raffe. A combination of Miss Wren not being around for a few days, and it no longer being a secure location, Miss Wren closed the loop, and opened a new one. It is unknown what exactly happened to the animals inside the loop, but Addison was able to leave before its collapse and he didn't seem to concerned about the rest of the animals.

Miss Grackle and her troupe of thespians did a production on Miss Wren and her menagerie, the Grass Menagerie.

Description[]

A very small house was perched on a very large tower constructed entirely from stacked-up railroad ties set smack in the middle of a grassy plateau. Around it on the plateau were scattered a few shacks and at the far end, there was a small patch of woods. There is a cemetery filled with the peculiar animals that died.
